trio Cog have spent the last 3 years building a strong and dedicated
fan-base by getting in the van and vigorously touring their
arses off. If you havn't heard of them, you need to take a step
back and have a good hard look at yourself. But seriously, this
band is unstoppable. Their live show is an experience not to
be missed and their talent and presence on stage is undeniable.
And with Lucius on the throne (arguably one of Australia's best
drummers in this country) this band is a must see live.
Cog
have recently signed a recording deal with independent label
DIFRNT Music. They have just returned from Weed, California
where they spent 2 months recording their highly anticipated
debut album. The album was recorded at Radio Star Studios with
Sylvia Massy who has produced great albums / bands such as System
of a Down, Tool, REM, and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
The
album is is due to be released in March 2005. In the meantime,
go out and grab their first two EPs "Just Visiting"
Parts 1 & 2. Very much worth the listen to prepare you for
the their amazing live show.
