Music
Industry Invitation, 21 August, 2006
ARC would like to invite you to 'Light Up The Halls'
around urban & rural Australia. The Company is working with local
councils, youth/arts workers & schools in an effort to re-ignite the
'general access' performance circuit in Town Halls, Civic Centres, schools
& other community venues, nationally.
If you'd like to present your music to the kids, either live or recorded,
just send an email & we'll let the local promoters know. At the moment
ARC is seeking expressions of interest for shows in Monto
(2 1/2hrs from Rockhampton & Bundaberg) on September 30th; The Copper
Coast (1-2 hrs west of Adelaide) on January 12th, 2007; &
Le Hunte (mid Eyre Peninsula, SA), any time anyone is
passing by, or thinking of crossing the Nullarbor.
There are currently 496 promoters (not including schools) on ARC's database,
looking to stage shows for the kids. If you'd like to present yourself,
your artists, or your recorded product to these budding entrepreneurs,
anytime - or if you're organising events or
promotions, anywhere in Australia - just let ARC know & we'll see
what we can pull together. All expressions of interest are eagerly sought.
ARC would like to thank the bands who have allowed the Company to play
their music & link websites to www.arc.au.com. In particular, we would
like to thank Rob Luckey & the Lucky Bastards, Augie March, Wildseed,
The Hoodoo Gurus, Fifty Million Beers, the Atlantics, Bordello & GANGgajang
for their beautiful music and goodwill in assisting ARC in its aims.
More Music!! ARC remains happy to post fliers for general
access shows on its website; link websites and post web pages; put bands
in touch with promoters and local promoters in touch with touring artists,
at any time. These are free services, so please feel free to use them.
Lastly, if you have original Australian recorded product for sale as digital
product or in cd format, ARC is on a mission to make your music available
for sale on it's website and at dances around the country. If you can
help in providing access to your catalogue, we will try to make cash registers
ring and hearts sing, wherever we can.
Please call, or email, if you'd like further information on ARC projects.
The Company is a community resource - so why not exploit it? We look forward
to assisting you, in your musical endeavours.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope to hear back, from
you, sometime soon.
all the best
