Music. GANGgajang. 'Waiting In The Wind'
Welcome to Australian Rock Company Ltd (ARC)'s website.
ARC is a not-for-profit cultural organisation, established to promote
general access performances, by original Australian artists, in
isolated, undercatered and financially uncertain areas. This site
has been set up to encourage communication between bands, young
fans and local promoters, to assist in fulfilling this aim.
NAB 150 Music Workshops
Australian Rock Company Ltd (ARC), in association with one of our member companies Mushroom Marketing has been engaged by The National Bank of Australasia (NAB), to coordinate a series of music workshops, in secondary schools around Australia, to help commemorate the bank 's 150th year. These workshops are being held in selected high schools, to provide interactive education in songwriting , music and the Music Industry, in general. ....more

'Live at Lunch', schools' program.
ARC is pleased to assist schools, nationally,
to attract live performances by emerging artists, in lunch-hour.
The idea is that artists play, unplugged, to promote their music
and any forthcoming general access shows. Senior students would
set up vocal microphones and an amplifier, somewhere amenable in
the school grounds, for a 30-40 minute acoustic set. Artists to
perform, without guarantees, for a gold coin donation and cd and
merchandise sales.Schools who elect to host a 'Live at Lunch' performance
will be sent cds and promotional material for consideration, prior
to confirmation of dates.
If you wish to participate in Live At Lunch
as a school or performer, please register below.
The Stand.
In remote areas, it may not always be possible
to send performers, on preferred dates. The
Stand is a good fallback. ARC is collecting cds, merchandise,
posters, artwork, dvds and all things related to original Australian
music, art and culture, for sale, by schools and community groups,
on consignment. Eventually it is hoped that the entire Aussie catalogue
of recorded product will be made available, for ARC's one-stop shop.
Schools and community groups will be able to fundraise with this
project, by retaining a share of revenue generated. The
Stand will allow students, and the community, to become familiar
with a wide range of Australian youth culture, artwork, music and
memorabilia. It aims to be fun, make money for all concerned, and
to create a strong, self-sustaining, interface between the Australian
Music Industry, in general, and young fans, around the country.
If you wish to host The Stand, or to
provide music, merchandise or artwork, for sale, please register
below.
